How Our Insider Community Will Shape the Future of Eating Out

The best food knowledge in any city is locked in someone’s head. We’re unlocking it.

The best food knowledge in any city is locked in someone’s head. We’re unlocking it.

Every city has people who just know. They know which noodle shop is worth the drive. They know which spot changed hands and went downhill. They know the chef at the new place used to run the kitchen at the one everyone misses. This knowledge is incredibly valuable and almost completely inaccessible.

Yelp can’t capture it. Google can’t surface it. The algorithm has no idea it exists. It lives in group chats, in conversations at the bar, in the notes app of someone who’s just obsessed with finding great food.

What we’re building with our community

A layer of real human knowledge on top of the AI. The Stupid Good insider community is made up of people who care deeply about food in their cities — and who are willing to share what they know in exchange for being part of something worth being part of. Better recommendations for everyone. A little credit for the people who make those recommendations possible.
